So since we last checked in we’ve been doing a lot of drivin & alot of rockin! We played The Canal Club in Richmond, VA on Thursday night. We split the bill with some great bands. One in particular was The Civil Wars… great duo, they are the full package I’m telling ya!
Last night we opened for Jason Michael Carroll at a room in Fredericksburg, VA called The Q Ball Cafe. We’ve been getting good reception at these rooms and the band is getting tighter and tighter. Tonight we are play Columbia, SC at the White Mule and head home for a few days rest before we finish up this run with a show in Athens, GA that we are all excited about! We’ll be hitting ya’ll with some pics & videos soon so keep an eye out. Ya’ll be easy, we will.
Our first run, pegged “The Bartender Tour”, has been interesting thus far! The focus is to get some road time under our belts as a band. We began the tour with a SOLD-OUT hometown show at Vinyl in Atlanta on the 6th. Brian Collins, Stevie Monce & Patrick Scott all opened the show for us & they all killed it, please check these guys out! We had a lot of friends in the house including Zac Brown, Coy Bowles & Clay Cook sitting in throughout the night. Couldn’t ask for a better tour kick off than that!
We have been hitting venues hard in the southeast region. Highlights for us thus far include “SoapBox Live” in Wilmington, NC…1/3 bar, 1/3 music venue, 1/3 laundry mat…yep perfect for road musicians. Nashville, TN at Bridgestone Arena for The Jack Daniels invitational & our most recent favorite, “The Pour House” in Charleston, SC. Great place, good crowd & a great Cuban cafe next door that was the JAM!! We have a drive day/off day then Richmond, VA. at, “The Canal Club” on the 19th at 10pm. Need to see some Lovers at the show!!
Check out countryschatter.com blog and photos that recap our show this past Saturday. Also, I will have new tour dates coming soon! I am excited about getting out and playing and I will be coming to your town in no time! See you soon!!!
